Marion Ruth Manheimer passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the age of 84. Marion was born in New York City on December 11, 1940, an only child, to Jean (Saenger) and Howard Stone. Marion grew up in Washington Heights, attending George Washington High School, where she earned a certificate in bookkeeping. After high school, Marion worked as a secretary at J.P. Morgan, where she continued for 13 years until the birth of her first child. On November 17, 1968, Marion married Lewis Manheimer. After the births of their two sons, Marion’s greatest joy was in lovingly caring for her family. Marion was pre-deceased by her husband Lewis, her partner in life for over 55 years in August 2024. Marion is survived by her sons Steven (Shira) and Robert (Katye), as well as her granddaughters: Maura, Samantha, Miranda, Hannah, and Leora. Donations may be in Marion’s made to Susan G.
