March 1, 2026 at 11:55 amAs her nextdoor neighbor starting in August 1960, I remember Virginia very fondly. She was a lovely person. She annd her husband Harold were wonderful neighbors. I think I even babysat for their children Joel and Sandi on occasion. My younger brothers Mark and Alan were about Joel’s age, so our families had a lot in common. Our mother, Roslyn, was good friends with Virginia and stayed in touch with her even after she moved from her house to an apartment farther away. My wife Susan (née Saltzer) also remembers Virginia fondly. Her family lived across the street and just up the hill. Her mother Mildred saw her frequently after all the children left home. She will be missed.

I have fond memories of your mother, and of growing up as neighbors on Ridgeland Road.
May her memory be a blessing.
