Sanford Levine 1942 - 2025

Sanford “Sandy” Levine, 82, passed away on March 29, 2025, in Boca Raton, Florida. Born on June 6, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York, Sandy lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and a deep connection to the people around him.

Sandy began his professional journey working for Bradley Imports in New York City’s bustling garment district. Though he found success there, it was at the iconic Carnegie Deli where he truly discovered his calling. At the deli, Sandy became known not just for his work but for the way he made every employee and customer feel valued. His presence brought energy and kindness to the workplace—qualities that left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.

He was fun-loving and outgoing, with a spirit that drew people in. Whether through a shared laugh or a thoughtful gesture, Sandy had an extraordinary ability to make others feel seen and appreciated. His giving nature extended beyond his professional life into every relationship he nurtured.

Sandy is lovingly remembered by his daughters Cari Porada and her husband Rob of New Jersey, and Jodi Smith and her husband Chuck of New Jersey. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren Gabrielle, Jeremy, Amanda, and Rachel; his brother Alan Levine of Delray Beach, Florida; and his devoted companion Sharyn Bernstein. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Sarah Levine.
