Cora Kate Schults, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY, sadly passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 96. Cora was born October 2, 1929 in Yonkers to the late Samuel and Sarah (Arye) Sharfstein. Growing up locally, Cora was a longtime member of the JCC of South Yonkers where she was an accomplished singer in many of their community productions. Cora worked for Hartsdale Fabrics, where she was a master seamstress, and even made some of the clothing that her family wore through the years. Cora also enjoyed doing Pilates up until the young age of 85. She is survived by her cherished daughters Deborah, Sandra and Stacey. Cora is predeceased by her beloved husband William, whom she was married to for 56 years. She is also predeceased by her loving siblings, Jeanette Pease, Irving, Morris and Hershel (Henry) Sharfstein.
