Obituary of Constance Sultan

Constance Sultan died peacefully on February 16, 2018, at the age of 84. Connie was born in Brooklyn; her family moved to Rockville Centre when she was a teenager. She graduated in 1955 from Skidmore College with a degree in nursing. She worked for 30 years at Mt. Sinai Hospital where she was the charge nurse in the baby nursery. She leaves many friends from her days in nursing school; at Mount Sinai Hospital; in Saltaire, Fire Island, where she and her husband spent many summers; and in her building on the Upper West Side. She is survived by Edwin, her husband of 57 years, her sons David and Peter and their wives Kathryn and Robin, her grandsons Simon, Isaac, and Harry, her beloved sister Marilyn Haft, her nephew William Haft, her niece Emily Bloom, and her extended family. We loved her dearly and will miss her very much.
