Florence Ecker – March 1923 – January 19, 2023
Florence Ecker passed peacefully on January 19, 2023, to be with her beloved husband, Jerry, who passed December 16, 2022. Our family was so blessed to share so many years of joy and good times. Florence is survived by her sons Robert and Paul, daughters-in-law Tammi and Karen, grandchildren Keri (Rich), Danny (Brooke) and Jason, and great-grandchildren Cameron and Anderson. Florence was an intelligent, giving person who prided herself in always putting her best foot forward.
Florence lived most of her life in Yonkers, New York. She was the youngest of the five Katz children. Florence and Jerry were married more than 80 years. She grew up working in her mother’s luncheonette and was an amazing cook and baker. She did everything to perfection. No one went hungry with mom around.
