Obituary of Gladys Raskin

Dr. Gladys Fleischman Raskin, 96, passed away February 21, 2018 in Summit, New Jersey.  Born on September 26, 1921, Dr. Raskin was one of the early women practitioners in the medical field, having graduated with honors from New York University, and earning her medical degree from New York Medical College in 1946.  Additionally, Dr. Raskin was named as a Diplomate of the American Board of Medical Examiners.  Dr. Raskin practiced family medicine for about 30 years, in Brooklyn, NY, balancing her career with bringing up her two sons with her late husband, Dr. Martin B. Raskin.

Beloved mother of Ray Raskin, (Rosary Morelli) and Jay Raskin (Janis).  Adored grandmother of Dr. Diane Rosen (David), Elaine Schulz (Maxwell), Annie Morelli and Jillian Beth Raskin. Proud great grandmother of Marni Rosen, Joshua Rosen, and Lydia Schulz.
