Harley J. Gerlitz of Somers, NY sadly passed away on August 11, 2022 at the age of 63. Harley was born February 5, 1959 in Mount Vernon, NY to the late Melvin and Constance Flax. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her mom kibitzing about family and friends. Harley is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years Jay, her cherished children Melissa and Jesse (Amy), her adoring grandchildren Jackson, Jaden and Jamey, her loving sister Nancy (John) Armentano and her nephews Tyler (Angela), Ryan, Alex and Grayson. She is predeceased by her brother Randy Flax. A graveside service will be held Sunday August 14, 2022 at 10am at the Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. Memorial donations in Harley’s memory may be made to Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (specify synovial sarcoma).
