Obituary of Herbert Gluckman

Herbert Gluckman, of White Plains, NY passed away on May 23, 2016 at the age of 95. Herbert was born March 3, 1921 in Brockton, MA to the late Harry and Reita Gluckman. During WWII, Herb proudly served in the US Army Air Corp Squadron. He is survived by his cherished children Robert (Susan), Harriet (Fred) Mehlman, adoring grandchildren Sarah (Michael), Julia (Joe), Ella, Allyson and Heather, a great grandson Asher and his loving sister Muriel Gaines. Herb is predeceased by his beloved wife Rita. A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 1pm at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ. Memorial donations in Herb’s memory may be made to the National Museum of Jewish Military History in Washington, DC (www.nmajmh.org).
