Jerome (Jerry) Kruman 1930 - 2020

Jerry (Jerome) Kruman, aged 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020, surrounded by his family. Born April 24, 1930 in Pittsburgh, PA, he spent the majority of his life in both New York and Florida. Loving husband of Anita for 61 years. And throughout his life was the family handyman, entertainer, and cook. Cherished father of Rhonda (Randy Kertesz), Jeff (Lynda) and Ivy (David Cohen). Adored grandfather of Jacob, Alyssa, Max and Eli. Step-grandfather of Daryl (Kerry), Michael (Leslie) and Heather (Greg); step-great-grandfather of Lily, Marin, Ella and Averie. My heart goes out to you, Anita, Ivy, Jeff and the rest of your family. I am very sorry for your loss, Jerry was such a nice, funny human being. I still remember his emails full of jokes! In this time of sorrow, I want you to know that my thought and prayers are with you.I can’t possibly imagine what you feel right now, but if there’s anything I can do to ease your pain, I will gladly do it, all you have to do is call!
This was my favorite jokes he sent… An elderly couple had just learned how to send text messages on their mobile phones.

The wife was a romantic type and the husband was more of a no-nonsense guy.

One afternoon the wife went out to meet a friend for coffee.

She decided to send her husband a romantic text message and she wrote:
“If you are sleeping, send me your dreams. If you are laughing, send me your smile.
If you are eating, send me a bite. If you are drinking, send me a sip. If you are crying, send me your tears…….
    I love you.”

The husband texted back to her:

“I’m on the toilet. Please advise.”

    Dear Anita and family,
Larry and I have no words that seem adequate enough to express our feelings during this sad time. We will always remember Jerry with affection… his unique sense of humor, his ability to make others laugh, and lastly, his uncanny ability to fix anything that come his way. Most of all he was a truly good guy through and through. We loved him.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
    Love, Larry and Roni
