Obituary of Laurence Weiss

Laurence Phillip Weiss, a resident of New City, NY sadly passed away on October 4, 2016 at the age of 54. Larry was born June 20, 1962 in Brooklyn to Howard and Barbara Weiss. He proudly served in the US Navy, and received his Associates Degree from Rockland Community College. Laurence went on to work as an IT Tech in the computer industry and then used his talents to become a recruiter. He was a member of the American Legion and an avid animal lover, especially his cats. In addition to his devoted parents, he is survived by his beloved wife Diane Hettrick, cherished children Thomas (Natalie) and Samantha, his loving brother Matthew (Rebecca), and many caring brother and sister in laws and, adoring nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday October 7, 12 noon at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ. Memorial donations in Larry’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association
