Obituary of Norma Geller

My mom Norma Goodstein Geller born January 30, 1929 in the Bronx NY,was a truly “special lady”!! She was the “best mom” anyone could ever ask for, always there in times of need and times of celebration! She met her husband Marvin Geller who predeceased her sadly enough, in 1976 at 46 years old while jogging one Sunday morning! They were childhood sweethearts, they met in the Bronx NY as kids, and families were all friends ,and became intertwined! Marvin was the love of her life, a handsome, debonair, successful businessman!

They married and moved to Westchester county, had 4 children,3 girls and 1 boy!!! Unfortunately, her only son Billy who was so very dedicated to his mom, was tragically hit by a car at 47yrs old, also a handsome, debonair, talented, wonderful guy, just like his dad!! Fortunately a blessing in disguise mom was sick at the time with Lewy Bodies Demetia and could not quite grasp the loss…. Three years later from the day her son Billy was hit by the car and killed Norma took her last breath- how ironic!!,also the funeral for Mom/Norma was also the same day as her son Billy’s funeral 3yrs later!! All we can do is hope and pray that maybe it was a calling for Norma and her son to be “together again”!! Also may they both join Marvin her husband, and all there loved ones again!!

Norma was an active lady in her community, she performed in all her synagogues shows as she was a wonderful actress and singer! She also continually gave charity to all the needy, was an avid animal lover, and even loved to take care of the birds!!In a nutshell this beautiful women did not have a bad bone in her body!!!Anyone she came in contact with, she touched there lives in such a endearing way! May she Rest in Peace, forever and always
