Paula Payson Wolosky 1955 - 2024

no-image

On the evening of April 25th, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones, Paula Amy Payson – Wolosky lost her 6 year battle with ALS. Born in New York, New York in 1955, the daughter of Selma and Dr. Benjamin Payson, sister of Arthur and Renée, Paula was an incredible woman who inspired us all with her grace and dignity throughout her life. She was a talented artist, a dedicated nursery school teacher, an empathic friend, an attentive listener, a cherished sister, a devoted aunt, a beloved sister-in-law, and a loving mother. When her husband Gary passed away in 2002 from pancreatic cancer, Paula relied on her strength and wisdom as she raised her two wonderful sons, Samuel and Ross, as a single mom. Her nurturing spirit lives on in all of the lives that she touched. Throughout her life, she always found happiness and joy, and reminded people to LAFOFTEN.
