I always enjoyed the time I spent with Rennie. Her sense of humor was infectious. My favorite time was when she and I did a tag-team concert as the “Two Bitchy Bsbes,” a spoof of a folk tour called the “Four Bitchin’ Babes.”

Sniff. Hers was not a voice to be silenced.

Rennie was a wonderful person with wonderful talents. I'll miss her but will cherish my memories of her. I wish strength, comfort, peace, and (if possible) a little of her spirit of laughter for her family and everyone else who knew and loved her.

So sorry for your loss, Mike, Liam, Amanda, and family. She was a wonderful woman. I hope her memory is a blessing to you, and to all who knew her. I had the pleasure of singing with her at a handful of filk circles, and have gladly propagated some of her songs here on the left coast. Namaste'.

Rennie brought joy and laughter. Many of her songs needed people forewarned, "Do NOT be drinking or eating anything, because you will choke on it laughing at the lyrics!"

She and her songs have made the world a better place.
