Sally Oshins 1935 - 2025

Sally Oshins, 90, and a lifelong Bronx resident sadly passed away on August 23, 2025 surrounded by the love and warmth of her family. Sally was born January 23, 1935, to the late William and Hannah Siegel. Caring for her family was her hobby and her life, as they were the most important parts of her being. She developed a second family through her 48 plus year career working for SAR Academy in Riverdale, as their business office secretary. When she was not enjoying the fruits of her labor, she enjoyed playing Rummikub with her cherished husband or Mahjongg whenever she could get into a game.
Sally is survived by her beloved husband and lifelong partner David, with whom she shared 76 years – 68 of them in marriage, her devoted children Jody (Donald) Kramer, Rod (Vikki) Oshins, her adoring grandchildren Carly, Jake, Julie, Emily, Benjamin and Marli and her loving brother Robert Siegel. In addition to her parents, Sally is predeceased by her siblings Lucile Klorman and Stuart Siegel.
