Obituary of Samuel Kirshner

~~Samuel Kirshner, age 87, a resident of Yonkers, NY passed away at home on November 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  Sam was born April 5, 1930 in the Bronx, NY to the late Jack and Fannie Kirshner.  After graduating high school, Sam went on to proudly serve in the US Army during the Korean conflict.  In addition to his longtime friend and companion Miriam, he is survived by his cherished sons David (wife Rinath) and Matthew, his brother Harold (Nancy) and his adoring grandchildren Benjamin, Ezra Jack and Eliana.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Veterans Affairs (VA) Voluntary Service @www.volunteer.va.gov
