Sandra Rosen 1937-2019 (82) died Friday, 12/6/19 with her family at her side in Yonkers, NY. She leaves behind her husband Allen (married 61 years), her children Beverly and Carl, her grandchildren Melanie (Ezekiel), Jaclyn (Trevin) and Sarah, and her great-grandchildren Aria and Parker. She was a beautiful person, generous, kind, caring, compassionate, strong, tenacious, devoted and the list goes on. She was born and raised in Bronx, NY. She graduated with a masters degree from Bank Street College. Retired from the NYC Board of Education where she was a school aide and a para professional. She was loved by the students and faculty alike. After retiring from NYC she worked for a short time at Yonkers’ Schools. In her spare time between being a devoted wife, mother and professional, she was an active and committed member of the PTA, Girl Scouts of America and other non-profit organizations. Above all she was dedicated to her family and always there for her friends.
