Vivian Breitman, of Middletown, NY sadly passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 72. Vivian was born July 23, 1948 in New York, NY to the late Kurt and Babette Hirschfeld. After graduating from college Vivian joined the workforce. She spent many years as a clerical secretary in the Monroe Woodbury School District. Vivian was an avid mahjongg player and loyal friend. She took great pride in organizing dinner parties with her husband for their friends from their over 55 community. In addition to her beloved husband of 48 years Robert, she is survived by her cherished daughters Beth (Daniel) DeBeer and Meryl (Joshua) Elkin and her adoring grandchildren Korey, Abby, Ezra and Ruby. Her love and kindness will be sorely missed. Memorial donations in Vivian’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, National Kidney Foundation or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
