Alan D. Rosenberg, CPA

Alan D. Rosenberg passed away on September 18, 2017 at the age of 71.  Alan will lovingly be remembered by his wife of 42 years, Wendy, his children Kerri, Joshua and Brian and wife Amanda and his grandchildren Lexi, Mackenzie and Charlie. Alan was the founding partner at Manhattan and Westchester accounting firm Rosenberg & Chesnov which he founded as Alan D. Rosenberg CPA PC in 1975 and from which he recently retired. With a personality as big as his heart and smile, Alan had many passions and interests including cantorial music, basketball — go Knicks!, collecting sports memorabilia and sharing his cultural pursuits and infinite knowledge with his friends and family. A lifelong Westchester resident, Alan grew up in Mount Vernon, raised his family in New Rochelle and most recently lived in White Plains. Alan graduated with honors from New York University and received his MA degree in Taxation from the City University of New York’s Baruch College. A Funeral Service in memory of Alan will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., at Beth El Synagogue, 1324 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10804. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in Alan’s memory to the Lustgarten Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
