Evelyn Morgenstern 1943 - 2021

Evelyn Morgenstern, a 53-year resident of the Fieldstondale Coop in Riverdale, passed away on December 1, 2021 at the age of 78. Evelyn was born in New York City on March 22, 1943 to the late Louis and Rita Sperling. She worked as a payroll manager for the NY Times and loved her time volunteering at the Century Senior Center until the Covid pandemic limited her time there. Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years Leonard, her cherished children Barry (Cheryl) and Steven (Bernadette) and 4 adoring grandchildren (Juliann, Clara, Connor, and Caitlin). She was predeceased by her brother Stephen Sperling. A graveside funeral service was held at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
