March 1, 2016 at 12:00 amEzra was my colleague and friend in the Professional Staff Congress/CUNY for over 35 years. He was an effective leader for the College Laboratory Technicians, and a strong advocate for a higher education unionism that enrolled all faculty and staff in one organization that could then best represent their interests. He had supported unionism in the City University of New York since the 1960s, He loved a good discussion, especially on historical subjects, and we had many over the years. I will miss him, and I send my condolences to his family.

March 1, 2016 at 12:00 amEzra Seltzer was a colleague and good friend for many years. We worked with him in the Professional Staff Congress/CUNY. We knew him as an especially strong supporter of unions for higher education faculty and staff, particularly College Laboratory Technicians. It was always interesting to talk with Ezra about history. We extend our sympathies and condolences to Ezra's family on their loss. It is a loss shared by us as well.
